Where it all began...

Universal Web Remote was created in 2001 by Benjamin Foley as a personal bookmarking site. At the time it was only available to a select few people. As additional friends saw the concept they encouraged him to open it to the public. In 2006, Universal Web Remote made its public debut. Today Universal Web Remote has grown to serve 37 users and contains 707 links.

How Do I Sign Up?

Simply click Create An Account, Once you fill in the short form you will receive and email with instructions on how to activate your account. Once your account is activated you can begin adding links via the simple "Add a Link" menu item or install the Firefox Toolbar and click + Web Remote to add any page while your on it. In addition you can visit our Top Links section and quickly add other popular links to your own Web Remote.
